Partnering with clients help them build coping skills, recognize their strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a bilingual clinician, I am passionate about providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds in both English and Spanish. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and person-centered. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults and older adults. I assist individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, and significant life transitions, including immigration and the cultural, emotional, and relational changes that may accompany it. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives and view my role as walking alongside them as they build coping skills, recognize their strengths, and work toward meaningful change.
Outside of my work as a clinician, I enjoy spending time with my cats and family, traveling, great food, caring for my wellness and health, and connecting with nature.
