Partnering with clients to build pratical strategies and real-world tools to support your healing and growth.
Starting therapy takes courage, and my main priority is to make sure you never feel like just another appointment on a calendar. I aim to build a comfortable, down-to-earth environment where you can speak freely and feel understood.
My approach to therapy is straightforward: compassionate listening paired with actionable, real-world tools you can actually use. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, we work together to build practical strategies that fit your life, at a pace that feels safe for you. My work has focused on crisis support, trauma-informed care, neurodiversity (including ADHD and Autism), and helping families communicate better.
Before moving into clinical practice, I spent 25 years in the public school system, first as an ASL classroom interpreter, and then 19 years as a school counselor. That long background shaped how I listen and how I meet people where they are, no matter what they are walking through.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my two adult children and my granddaughter. I am a huge Disney fan, and when I can sit still long enough, I usually relax with a historical film, a good sci-fi movie, or a funny sitcom.
